FDIC 2026: Bigger Than a Booth
FDIC 2026: Bigger Than a Booth
Our first FDIC is in the books.
We left Indianapolis exhausted, motivated, and honestly a little blown away by how much this community continues to grow. What started years ago as a simple idea between firefighters has turned into something we never could have imagined.
The amount of people who stopped by the booth just to shake hands, tell us they watch the classes, wear the merch, or appreciate what we’re building was unreal. We talked with firefighters from all over the country and even around the world. Career departments. Volunteers. Big city guys. Small town departments. Probationary firefighters. Chiefs. Everybody.
At the core of every conversation was the same thing: firefighters are hungry for training, real conversations, and a culture that still values hard work and pride in the job.
This is what Blue Collar Firemen has always been about.
FDIC is one of the few places where the fire service from all corners comes together under one roof. You walk through the Indiana Convention Center or Lucas Oil Stadium, and see old friends, instructors you’ve looked up to for years, firefighters you’ve only talked to online, and people who genuinely care about making the job better.
This year was packed from start to finish.
The BCF booth stayed busy all week. The FDIC exclusive merch sold fast, the Training Platform got a ton of attention, and we had countless conversations about where the fire service is headed. Seeing departments interested in bringing the platform into their organizations was a huge moment for us because that vision has been in the works for years.
One of the best parts of the week was the Square Corner fundraiser. Alongside some great companies and even better people, we were able to raise money for causes that actually matter to the fire service community. Watching firefighters pack into the Ignite section, grab a beer, talk shop, and support something bigger than themselves reminded us why this culture is still special.
We also want to thank every company, instructor, and supporter who took the time to collaborate, stop by, or simply show support throughout the week. None of this gets built alone.
Most importantly, thank you to the firefighters who continue supporting what we do. Every membership, every shirt, every repost, every conversation at the booth helps us continue building something for the people actually doing the job.
We came home with a lot of ideas, a lot of motivation, and a clear understanding that this thing is still just getting started.
See you next year, Indy.
